Ahn Seong-il Offers to Help Keena's Father: "I can write and organize comments for you"

Keena, who recently returned to the girl group FIFTY FIFTY , has sent a cease-and-desist letter to the investigative program 'We Want to Know' by SBS, demanding that her interview not be used in their upcoming sequel episode. Furthermore, following the previous broadcast, a recording was confirmed where Ahn Seong-il, a producer from the outsourced company The Givers, spoke with Keena's father, stating, "I will help you with the 'We Want to Know' interview."

According to an exclusive report by The Cultural Daily, after the 'We Want to Know' broadcast on August 19th, the production team reached out to the members again. The sequel now being teased by 'We Want to Know' is once again directed by PD Jo, who was responsible for the previous program. It has been confirmed that all four members have already conducted interviews with 'We Want to Know'. It seems a predictable step after the broadcast of August 19th, which ended with 'We Want to Know' emotionally appealing to the members through their handwritten letters.

However, after the members' application for an injunction to suspend their exclusive contract was 'dismissed', and Keena admitted her past mistakes and returned to her agency Attrakt, the situation took a drastic turn. Realizing the error in the members' claims, Keena sent a cease-and-desist letter to 'We Want to Know', requesting them not to use the interview conducted before her return to the agency.

However, the 'We Want to Know' team has yet to respond to this request.

The Cultural Daily attempted to verify the facts by contacting PD Jo and Head Producer Han of 'We Want to Know' through phone calls and text messages on the 1st. Neither responded. PD Jo did call after 11 pm on the 1st, but the call was not received, and subsequent attempts to contact him on the 2nd and 3rd were unsuccessful, as were text messages, to which he did not reply.

During this time, The Cultural Daily exclusively obtained a recording of a phone conversation between Keena's father and producer Ahn. This conversation took place on August 30th, 11 days after the 'We Want to Know' broadcast on August 19th.

In the conversation, producer Ahn said, "How are you planning to do the interview with 'We Want to Know'?" "But you have to speak according to some script, and if you suddenly get emotional, it can be risky," "If the parents decide, we can help, how the conversation should unfold, what words need to be careful, we can write comments for that and organize it for you," he remarked.

Producer Ahn initially agreed to interview with 'We Want to Know' in the August broadcast but refused, citing dental treatment among other reasons. Instead, an interview with The Givers director Baek Jin-sil was inserted in the program. However, Ahn assured Keena's father during their call, "I am currently speaking with a lawyer, and you said you prepared for the expected questions. Please send those to us first. We will comment on them and discuss with the lawyers any legal issues that might arise from the members' 'We Want to Know' interviews."

When The Cultural Daily tried to reach out to producer Ahn to hear his side of the story, he did not respond to phone calls or text messages.

Meanwhile, on the 1st, producer Ahn filed a lawsuit against Attrakt CEO Jeon Hong-jun. His legal representative from the law firm Hwa Woo stated, "The Givers and Representative Ahn filed a complaint against Jeon Hong-jun, the CEO of Attrakt, the agency of FIFTY FIFTY, for defamation by alleging false facts at the Gangnam Police Station on the 30th of last month," claiming that "after the dispute over the termination of the exclusive contract arose, Jeon spread false facts such as 'FIFTY FIFTY is being gaslit' or 'outside forces have approached Attrakt's artists to induce a breach of exclusive contracts'."
