BTS's Jungkook has showcased his unrivaled presence by setting a new Asian record with his first solo album 'GOLDEN' on global music streaming platforms.

As of November 4 (Korean time), according to the world's largest streaming platform Spotify, Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN' recorded 42,754,939 streams (before filtering) on its first day of release.

'GOLDEN' has written new history by achieving the highest number of streams ever for a debut album by an Asian solo artist on Spotify.

Jungkook also became the first Asian artist to place 9 songs simultaneously in the top 10 of the worldwide iTunes song chart.

On the worldwide iTunes song chart dated November 3, the title track of the 'GOLDEN' album, 'Standing Next to You,' secured the 1st position, with the songs 'Hate You' at 3rd, 'Yes or No' at 4th, 'Shot Glass of Tears' at 5th, 'Closer to You' at 6th, 'Please Don't Change' at 7th, 'Too Sad to Dance' at 8th, 'Somebody' at 9th, and '3D' at 10th - totaling 9 charted songs.

Furthermore, according to the latest (dated November 3) 'Daily Top Songs Global' released by Spotify, Jungkook's 'Seven' reclaimed the 1st spot, with 'Standing Next to You' at 2nd, '3D' at 7th, 'Hate You' at 16th, 'Yes or No' at 18th, 'Please Don't Change' at 23rd, 'Closer to You' at 24th, 'Somebody' at 27th, 'Shot Glass of Tears' at 28th, and 'Too Sad to Dance' at 29th, with all 10 tracks from the album entering the 'Daily Top Songs Global'.

Meanwhile, 'GOLDEN,' released at 1 PM on November 3, surpassed sales of 2 million copies within 5 hours on Hanteo Chart, a domestic album sales tally site, hurtling straight to 'Double Million Seller' status. Jungkook set a phenomenal new record for the highest first-day sales for a K-pop solo artist, ascending to the top of the initial chodong (first week sales) rankings on the day of release.
