BTS's V has illuminated his popularity with his solo track 'Love Me Again' reaching 200 million streams on Spotify.

The song, included in V's solo album 'Layover', surpassed the 200 million streaming milestone on November 4. This achievement comes just 85 days after its release, with 'Love Me Again' maintaining a long-term position on the global Spotify charts for 88 days.

'Love Me Again' becomes the fourth solo track by V, after 'Singularity', 'Sweet Night', and 'Christmas Tree', to cross the 200 million streams mark on Spotify.

Rooted in 1970s soul and infused with a dreamlike gospel element, 'Love Me Again' captivates listeners with V's smooth and distinctive rhythmic vocals.

Upon its release, 'Love Me Again' soared to the top of Billboard's 'Hot Trending Songs' chart, which ranks the most mentioned songs on social media in real-time, and was selected as the number one 'Favorite Song Released This Week' by Billboard, proving its explosive popularity.

The music video for 'Love Me Again' also sparked a hot response. It set a record as the first K-pop solo artist to simultaneously rank number one on the 'UK Tidal Top Videos' chart and 'Apple Music UK Videos' chart. Moreover, the video dominated the top spot across all charts including 'iTunes Music Videos', 'Apple Music Videos K-Pop category', and 'YouTube Music Videos', and ranked number one in popular videos on YouTube in 21 countries including the United States, United Kingdom, France, Japan, and Canada, ascending to popular video rankings in a total of 87 countries.

In an interview with Spotify, V expressed his intent to visualize the imagery that comes to his mind for specific songs into his music videos.

Before releasing his solo album, V took on the role of director for his self-composed track 'Winter Bear', experimenting with this concept. V was lauded for expanding the music into a short film format, filled with metaphorical expressions and cinematic techniques that captured his musical sentiment.

In an interview with Rolling Stones, V mentioned 'Love Me Again' as his favorite track, stating, "'Love Me Again' is about recalling memories and the desire to return to the past. That feeling is reflected in the music video as well. In short, it's about how my youth isn't over yet."
