BTS V's solo album 'Layover' has charted on the UK Official Charts for eight consecutive weeks, setting a new record for a K-pop solo artist. 'Layover' ranked 53rd in the UK Official 'Album Download Charts' in the first week of November, marking its eighth consecutive week on the chart. Since its debut at number one on the UK Official 'Album Download Charts', 'Layover' has also secured two 'Top 10' and seven 'Top 20' positions.

The title track 'Slow Dancing' from 'Layover' continues to enjoy popularity. 'Slow Dancing' debuted at number one on the 'Official Singles Download Chart' and the 'Official Singles Sales Chart', and as of November 4th, it ranked 76th and 84th respectively in its eighth week since release.

V has become the first K-pop solo artist to chart simultaneously in three categories of the UK Official Charts, conquering both the 'Album Chart' and the 'Singles Chart'. Additionally, as of November 7th, 'Layover' re-entered the top 10 of the UK iTunes Album Chart, continuing to receive steady love.

In New Zealand's 'Official Top 40 Albums' chart, 'Layover' has also charted for eight consecutive weeks, setting a first-time record not only by K-pop standards but also for a Korean solo album. Notably, 'Layover' debuted in the top 3 of the New Zealand Official Album Chart upon its release, a first for a Korean solo artist.

Beyond the UK and New Zealand, 'Layover' has consistently charted for seven weeks in the 'Top Album Charts' of France, Portugal, and Lithuania, boasting steady popularity not only in English-speaking countries but also across Europe.

'Layover' surpassed 2.1 million copies during its initial release period (the first week after release), achieving double million selling status. This is the highest record set by a Korean solo album since Jo Sungmo's 'Let Me Love' in 2000, 23 years ago. Moreover, 'Layover' is the first K-pop solo album to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify in its first week, setting a significant streaming record.
