G-Dragon, a member of the group Big Bang (real name Kwon Ji-yong), has been booked on charges of drug use, with the reason being disclosed as the testimony of a female manager of a Gangnam entertainment establishment. On Channel A's 'News A' broadcast on November 10, it was reported that G-Dragon's name came up in the statement of the female manager, who provided a drug consumption location to actor Lee Sun-kyun and even threatened him.

According to the report, during the investigation, the female manager stated, "In early December last year, suspicious packaging was found in the establishment's restroom after G-Dragon visited it," and "Right after that, G-Dragon's behavior was also strange." Based on the female manager's statement, the police have booked G-Dragon to verify the fact of drug use.

Previously, G-Dragon underwent a simple drug test and received a negative result. After the investigation, he shared the results of the simple test with the press, saying, "I have also urgently requested a detailed examination." G-Dragon also mentioned, "It would be good if the investigative authorities could quickly and accurately reveal the results," and "I came out to check what the situation was about since both parties don't fully understand the situation. The police will decide whether or not my statement will be helpful in the investigation."

In connection with this, reports emerged that G-Dragon had most of his body hair removed before undergoing the simple drug test. Addressing this, G-Dragon's legal advisor, attorney Kim Soo-hyun from K-One Chamber Law Office, clarified, "The report that he had his entire body hair removed is a blatant falsehood. Furthermore, the court has already dismissed the request for a communications warrant due to lack of evidence, and no warrant for seizure and search of hair has been issued. However, Kwon Ji-yong voluntarily attended and actively cooperated in the investigation, submitting not only his urine and hair but also his fingernails and toenails."

Meanwhile, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Division announced last month that they were investigating eight individuals, including a 40-year-old male actor L, under suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act. This investigation included aspiring entertainers, managers, and employees of entertainment establishments, with actors Lee Sun-kyun and G-Dragon being mentioned. The police are investigating whether these individuals have used various types of drugs, including cannabis, several times over the past year at residences and entertainment establishments.

G-Dragon firmly denied the allegations, stating, "I have not used drugs. Also, I am not related to the recent news reports about violations of the Narcotics Control Act," and "However, understanding that many are concerned, I will actively cooperate with the investigation and approach it more sincerely."
