BTS Jin's self-composed track 'Abyss' has once again secured the top spot on iTunes, showcasing his formidable power in the music industry.

Recently, 'Abyss' by Jin recorded consecutive No. 1s on the 'iTunes Top Song' chart, demonstrating the strength of his musical influence.

On December 8th, Korean time, 'Abyss' climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes chart in the Dominican Republic. After achieving No. 1 in 20 countries on the Papua New Guinea chart on November 25th, followed by No. 1 in 21 countries on the Brazil chart on December 6th, Jin's 'Abyss' now boasts No. 1 positions in 22 countries on the 'iTunes Top Song' chart.

Initially available only on SoundCloud and YouTube, 'Abyss' was officially released on all streaming platforms last October. Upon its release, it ranked highly on various national charts, including the 'Worldwide Chart,' 'iTunes US Chart,' and 'iTunes Europe Chart,' proving its global popularity.

Released on Jin's birthday, December 4, 2020, 'Abyss' captures the emotions he experienced during a period of burnout, resonating with listeners through its poetic melody and Jin's clear voice. At the time of its release, Jin posted the song and lyrics on the official BTS blog, explaining, "I recently said during a press conference that I don't want to share my sad emotions with the fans. I want to show only the good things. But if it's through music, it's different. I may not want to share it through my actions, but I think it's okay to show it through my music."

'Abyss' has been a source of comfort and healing for many fans experiencing similar feelings of burnout and has continued its long run on various music charts. December 7th marked the 1100th day since the release of 'Abyss.' Fans celebrated this milestone with the phrase 'ALWAYS HERE WITH JIN' and hashtags '#Abyss_석진이곁에서_1100일' and '#1100DaysWithAbyss.'
