Blackpink member Jennie is wrapping up an eventful 2023 and looking forward to her activities in 2024.
On the 31st, Jennie shared her thoughts on concluding the year with a post titled 'BYE 2023.'
She wore a hat stating '2024 IS GONNA BE MY YEAR' and held a 'HAPPY NEW YEAR' lettered cake, smiling happily.
Particularly eye-catching among the various photos Jennie shared was one featuring a pig-shaped cake with the caption "OA, let's conquer the universe!!" OA is the acronym for 'Odd Atelier,' the one-person agency established by Jennie. It's a label co-founded by Jennie and her mother, signifying a space for creating new things.
Jennie plans to continue activities with Blackpink under YG Entertainment and as a solo artist through her own agency. Previously, YG Entertainment announced, "Recently, we've entered into an extended contract for Blackpink's group activities, and it's been agreed that no separate additional contracts for individual activities will be pursued."
They added, "We will provide our full support for the activities of Blackpink, and warmly support the members' individual activities."
