The possibility of a full group comeback for Big Bang seems to be fading. Recently, YG Entertainment removed Big Bang's group profile from their official website's artist introduction section. This move came after YG had already removed individual profiles of G-Dragon and Taeyang last year, following the expiration of their exclusive contracts. However, the group profile of Big Bang had been maintained until now.

With no Big Bang members currently under YG, the artist introduction section underwent significant changes. TOP and Taeyang's contracts with YG expired in 2022, and Taeyang has since moved to The Black Label, an affiliate of YG. Daesung left YG in April last year, signing an exclusive contract with RND Company. As the last remaining member, G-Dragon also concluded his 18-year journey with YG in June last year when his contract expired.

There's growing interest in G-Dragon's future activities. Last month, he announced a new beginning with Galaxy Corporation and hinted at a solo comeback within the year. Galaxy Corporation, known for its ventures in entertainment as well as artificial intelligence (AI) and the metaverse, recently brought G-Dragon into the spotlight when he attended the CES 2024 in Las Vegas, USA.

Regarding BLACKPINK, while their group profile remains, individual profiles of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa have been removed. On December 6th, the members of BLACKPINK signed a contract extension with YG for group activities, deciding not to proceed with separate contracts for individual activities.

Among them, Jennie recently established a label called 'ODD ATELIER' with her mother and is actively participating in diverse activities. Jisoo, meanwhile, has joined hands with her elder brother, who is involved in a baby and toddler health food brand, to expand into entertainment business, as exclusively reported by Xports News.
