'Right Place, Wrong Person' explores moments of feeling like an outsider in the right place. It discusses a universal emotion that everyone has felt at least once in their lives, anticipating to resonate deeply with many. The album, filled with 11 tracks, boasts a rich sound encapsulated in the alternative music genre. Particularly, RM's involvement in writing the lyrics for every track heightens expectations.
Big Hit Music stated, "'Right Place, Wrong Person' will be filled with the unique color of solo artist RM, distinct from the BTS albums. We ask for everyone's expectation and interest in this album, which focuses on the essence of RM."
