The source, close to both Lopez and her husband, actor Ben Affleck, revealed to InTouch that the Bronx native's tour, set to commence in June, is turning out to be "disastrous" despite the involvement of Live Nation, the world's leading entertainment company.
The insider claimed that even at heavily discounted prices, the tickets for Lopez's tour are not in high demand. "Her manager, Benny [Medina] is blaming everyone around him for the low sales, even though he put the tour together alongside Live Nation," the source added (via InTouch), suggesting that it may have been a "big mistake" to put Lopez on a tour of this magnitude. Ticketmaster data shows that some tickets are being sold for as low as $34.
The low ticket sales and public scrutiny surrounding the tour have also reportedly taken a toll on Affleck, who is said to be frustrated by the constant attention. "Ben hates being in the public eye so much and he's pissed that it's 24/7 scrutiny because of the attention Jennifer brings too," the source alleged.
