When it came to the production of “Once Upon a Time,” Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio were as close as thieves. But since then, they have pretty much ghosted each other and now regard each other to be competitors, a new report claimed.

“They have zero plans to work together again and see Once Upon A Time … In Hollywood as a one-off. They are back to being quite sharp competitors with each other. They’re going after the same scripts and the same directors and there’s a ton of overlap. Plus, their companies are similarly structured, but Brad’s Plan B has seen a massive influx of investment that hasn’t materialized for Leo’s company, Appian Way, just yet. He’s working toward that and deserves that kind of windfall, but he hasn’t sealed a deal yet,” an unnamed source told In Touch of Brad, 60, and Leo, 49.

Brad "continues to have the upper hand" with "big directors," it went on. Is it true that Leo can accomplish anything with Scorsese? However, how many more films does he have left to make?

In addition, it has allegedly become quite evident that Quentin Tarantino would rather collaborate with Brad than with Leo. The insider went on to say that Quentin and Brad simply get along on a different level.

"In addition, Brad has completely monopolized his relationship with David Fincher, to the point where Leo has no opportunity to collaborate with the individual," the informant furthered. The fact that Brad is so possessive of David is unsettling, and it would be a terrible thing for Brad to witness David collaborating with Leo on a film. Without a doubt, he is not going to allow that to take place.

A few years separated the first performances of the two Hollywood men, Brad in 1987 and Leo in 1991, on the same comedy, “Growing Pains,” which aired in the 1980s. Both men got their start in the acting world on the same show.

In the early 2000s, the actor who played “Bullet Train” and the star of “Titanic” both made their debuts at the same time, but it did not look that they were competing with one another at the opportunity. During an interview with The New York Times in May 2019, Brad stated that his friendship with Leo was "pretty automatic."

"We both came on the scene around the same time, we have passed each other many times, and we have the same reference points. We have the same reference points," the former husband of Angelina Jolie stated in May 2019. The two of us have a mutual regard for one another, and I am aware of the moments when an actor brings a scene to a higher level.

In 2018, when Leo had finished filming “Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood” with Brad, he expressed his deep appreciation for the "terrific comfort and ease" he experienced while working with his co-star.

According to statements made by the actor from "The Wolf of Wall Street" during a press conference held in Cannes in May 2019, "We kind of grew up in the same generation, got our start around the same time. I have to say that working with Brad was really simple and straightforward. It was very simple. In addition, I believe that all of us worked together to create a film about our profession, which ideally resulted in a wonderful cinematic camaraderie.”

Both Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio have yet to address the reports pitting them against each other. So, devoted supporters of the two Hollywood actors should take all these unverified claims with a pinch of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
