Sources have told New Idea that the actress considers herself extremely fortunate to have a large number of beautiful children in her life, one of whom is her goddaughter Coco, who is the child of Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Additionally, she is a "aunty figure" to the children of other close friends, such as the children of Sandra Bullock and Reese Witherspoon.
“Jen has plenty of kids to spoil so she’s very grateful. She’s amazing with all of them. They adore Aunty Jen,” an unnamed insider stated.
New Idea is able to tell that Jen's rumored lack of contact with her own nephew and niece, who are the offspring of her younger half-brother Alex Aniston, is the "elephant in the room." This is despite the fact that Jen has expressed a desire to create a family.
“She has very little to do with them. All Jen’s friends know not to bring up the subject of her estranged family. It’s a very sore point and a sure-fire way to be booted from her inner circle. There’s no doubt something went down for Jen to keep her distance from Alex’s kids, because it’s clear she has been trying to compensate for that loss with her friends’ kids,” is what a source of Ryat and Kira, Alex's son and daughter, has to say. They are currently residing in Lake Arrowhead, California, with their mother, Adriane Hallek, who is Alex's ex-girlfriend.

By the time John passed away in 2022 at the age of 89, New Idea was aware that he maintained a strong relationship with his grandchildren. It is said that with John's assistance, Adriane was able to relocate to a cozy home in the mountains of Southern California. Meanwhile, Alex is said to make frequent visits from his new residence in Berkeley.
The source suggested that it is a "real shame" that Jen is not friendly with Ryat and Kira, but the bad blood between the actress and Alex, who also goes by the moniker AJ, runs deep. Ryat and Kira are not friends with Jen.
Alex previously confessed to a journalist that being related to Jen "has been a pain in my arse for years." This statement was made approximately ten years ago.
