Then, however, Sarah made her way onto the platform and launched a violent verbal assault on the stunned A-listers who were in the audience. Through this procedure, she ruined any goodwill she had built up with the senior members of the royal family.
While the enthused duchess was attempting to express her gratitude to auctioneer Simon de Pury, she was unable to do so since the audience was talking over her. amfAR had been able to raise $775 thousand through the auction of a portrait of the late Queen that was created by artist Chris Levine.
Sarah then urged everyone to "stop" after she had ordered the throng, which included celebrities such as Heidi Klum, Cher, and Diane Kruger, to "be quiet."
