Over the course of several years, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, has exerted a great deal of effort in order to win back the favor of her royal in-laws. Moreover, for a little moment, it appeared as though she had done precisely that.

Sarah, who is 64 years old, was present at the annual amfAR fundraising gala that took place during the most recent Cannes Film Festival, as per Bang Showbiz. The highlight of the event was the auctioning off of a photograph of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Sarah appeared to be overjoyed to be an attendee, as she wore a sophisticated cocktail gown that had been built to order and was dripping with diamonds.

“With so many events and not enough royals, the King has realized that it made sense to gently bring Sarah back into the fold, even though he’s rarely had time for her,” an unnamed source told New Idea.

Then, however, Sarah made her way onto the platform and launched a violent verbal assault on the stunned A-listers who were in the audience. Through this procedure, she ruined any goodwill she had built up with the senior members of the royal family.

While the enthused duchess was attempting to express her gratitude to auctioneer Simon de Pury, she was unable to do so since the audience was talking over her. amfAR had been able to raise $775 thousand through the auction of a portrait of the late Queen that was created by artist Chris Levine.

Sarah then urged everyone to "stop" after she had ordered the throng, which included celebrities such as Heidi Klum, Cher, and Diane Kruger, to "be quiet."

“I removed the microphone because all of you are saying ‘where is the next party?’” she said. She then added, “I want to say, why are we here? What is the future and why are we not making our planet better for the youth of tomorrow?”

King Charles was quickly informed of Sarah's breakdown, which had occurred not long before.

“Charles has always thought Sarah’s appeal, to his late mother especially, was her sense of humour, even if he couldn’t always see it himself. But there was nothing funny about that scene in Cannes,” the insider stated.

The King was irate, and it wasn't just because the video of Sarah's outburst went viral on the internet.

“The royal family have always had a friendly relationship with the Cannes Film Festival organizers. For Sarah to start scolding the guests was completely inappropriate. Not only was it rude to them, but it was an insult to the organizers,” the informant suggested.

New Idea claimed as a consequence that King Charles, who is 75 years old, was most likely compelled to step in.

“It will have been made clear to Sarah, via Charles’ secretary, that she’s skating on thin ice. If she wants to represent the royal family at future events, she must absolutely maintain a cool head,” the tipster said.

In light of the fact that Sarah has been battling breast cancer and melanoma in the past few months, many people would realize that she has been under a great deal of personal pressure.

“Her daughters Beatrice and Eugenie have been begging her to not take on so many engagements so soon after going into remission. They want her to slow down. But Sarah’s determined to do her duty,” the mole shared.

It remains to be seen whether Sarah takes their counsel into consideration, although she is "mortified" over putting King Charles in a bad light.

“She deeply regrets losing her cool. She won’t want to upset the King again,” the spy said.
