Tinseltown is allegedly not happy with George Clooney. Following the publication of his strongly worded opinion piece in which he demanded that President Joe Biden abandon his aspirations of serving a second term in the White House and put an end to his campaign, a number of individuals who were formerly a part of the actor's social circle have responded adversely, a new report claimed.
“The arrogance of Clooney is astounding. He has President Biden’s contact info. Why didn’t he just call his pal privately to air his concerns? Because George is an egomaniac who thinks every word he utters should be printed in The New York Times,” an unnamed source told RadarOnline.
Although there are Hollywood heavyweights who have acknowledged that the actor from “Ocean's Eleven” has a point, such as Michael Douglas, who is 79 years old, there are also individuals who have made it clear that they are disgusted by George.
"George’s name is being yanked off party invites and upcoming projects. No one wants to be seen with a traitor anymore. Plus, it looks like Clooney’s coup has failed. Joe isn’t going anywhere, but it looks like George should be the one considering stepping aside. His career, whatever was left of it, is over,” another insider stated.
George, who is 63 years old, has been quoted as saying that Democrats are ignoring "every warning sign" regarding President Biden's health during his 2024 election campaign. "The Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the Joe 'big F-ing deal' Biden of 2010. He wasn't even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate,” the husband of Amal Alamuddin said.
"One battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can ... We are not going to win in November with this president ... Joe Biden is a hero; he saved democracy in 2020. We need him to do it again in 2024,” George went on.
Prior to the publication of the opinion piece in The New York Times, it was claimed that George had a conversation with former President Barack Obama, who is 62 years old. It has been reported by sources that President Obama did not support his choice, but he did not make any attempt to prevent him from publicizing it.
However, the most prominent political opponent of President Joe Biden, Donald Trump, was the one who had harsh words for the Hollywood star. “What does Clooney know about anything? He uses the Democrat ‘talking point’ that Biden, the WORST President in the history of the United States, has ‘saved our Democracy' .... Clooney should get out of politics and go back to television. Movies never really worked for him!!!” the ex-POTUS stated.
George Clooney has yet to comment on the claims that his pals in the entertainment industry were not happy with his opinion about Joe Biden withdrawing from the 2024 Presidential race. So, devoted supporters of the “Wolfs” star must take all these unverified reports with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
