Disgraced Hollywood heavyweight Will Smith is having a great time with his new best friend Johnny Depp, and his domineering wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, is seeing red, a new report claimed.
The “Bad Boys: For Life” actor, who is 55 years old and was fired by Tinseltown when he slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards, was photographed partying with Johnny, who is 61 years old, on a yacht in Italy. Jada was nowhere to be found.
“Will and Johnny go way back, and have a lot of mutual friends,” an unnamed source told Globe Magazine.
Jada, who is 52 years old and walked the red carpet with Will at the opening of his film “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” in June, is in a fuss because of the warm and fuzzy friendship that they share.
“She feels he’s run off living a single life and rubbing it in her face while she’s been supporting him,” the anonymous insider told the entertainment news outlet.
Most, if not all, fans are aware that Will has been striving to improve his image in the wake of the Slapgate scandal, and Jada is assisting him in this endeavor, despite the fact that she has disclosed that they have been living as different individuals since 2016.
“Jada has totally been there for him, so she’s furious that he’s flaunting his hangouts with Johnny and acting totally single,” the informant said to the publication.
It added, however, Jada's fury has not disrupted Will's plans for the party in any way. “Johnny has been taking Will on boys’ nights out, getting him involved in his band and promising to fix him up with great summer parties and a whole new set of friends,” the tipster stated.
In the meantime, Jada, who is filled with jealousy, is threatening to make life very difficult for him if he does not begin to behave more like a married man or woman. For whatever reason, Will is said to be making her appear to be an idiot.
Meanwhile, Will has signed a recording contract with Slang, a new record label released by Influence Media Partners, which was established by Rene McLean, a musician.
Will's musical return at the BET Awards, when he sang the gospel song "You Can Make It," which was released in cooperation with Slang and Tribl Records, is what prompted the signing of the contract, Forbes reported.
After obtaining a ban from the Academy Awards for hitting Chris Rock at the Oscars in 2022, Smith took a hiatus from the public eye and removed himself from the spotlight.
Over the past few months, Slang has expanded its roster to include musicians such as Big Sean, Mary J. Blige, Cardi B, and Roddy Ricch, in addition to artists like Will.
