Reese Witherspoon has reportedly landed a mega-wealthy new boyfriend on the dating scene, and now a fresh story claims that she intends to double date Jennifer Aniston, her co-star on "The Morning Show," in order to break her out of the rut of being a single female.
The blonde, who is 48 years old, has been in a relationship with banker Oliver Harrmann for a few weeks now. This is her first relationship since she broke up with her now-ex-husband Jim Toth, who is now her ex-husband.
“Reese is playing down this new romance but it’s obvious she’s totally into Oliver. She lights up when she talks about him, and she’s now started saying that Jen needs to find a guy like him,” an unnamed source told Globe Magazine.
Since her divorce from her second husband, Justin Theroux, in February 2018, Jennifer has not been committed to a relationship with anyone, according to the unnamed source who provided the information.
“Reese is convinced Jen’s in a state of paralysis when it comes to her dating life. So, she’s decided what Jen needs is to get set up on a double date so that she and Oliver can help break the ice. She isn’t looking to pressure Jen, she just wants to set this up so they can kick back and have some fun because she’s convinced Jen is in desperate need of romance. She’s been all work and no play for too long,” the informant told the entertainment news outlet.
Business Times has reached out to Jennifer Aniston for comments.
Meanwhile, backstage at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2020, Brad Pitt and Jennifer presented a visual treat for their fans by engaging in intimate physical contact with one another. After their spectacular reunion, there was a lot of talk regarding the former couple's possibility of getting back together.
Wendy Williams, a former anchor of a daytime talk show, came to the conclusion that Jennifer should not get back together with this "cheater" Brad after she weighed in on the equation that involved the former Hollywood power couple.
"I don't think she cares to get back together with him- all them kids and ya cheated on me in front of all of us...embarrassed me with that and yourself too," she said during the hot topics segment of “The Wendy Williams Show.”
She reportedly disclosed that Norman, her producer, had convinced her that their separation would be beneficial, as reported by The US Sun. Norman asserted, "He’s [Brad] a dog," referring to Brad. But in February, Wendy expressed her support for the former couple, stating that they were destined to be together.
"To me, you and Brad are still meant to get back together," she said after the former couple were spotted again at Guy Oseary’s annual Oscar award party, as reported by Page Six. Brad won his first Academy Award as Best Supporting Actor for “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and the “Murder Mystery” actress congratulated him, "Aniston congratulated Pitt on his win, they didn’t hang out long," a source said then.
As reported by EOnline, Jennifer made an honest joke about her divorce with Brad during her appearance on the final edition of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in May of 2022. "Well, I got a divorce and went into therapy. Oh! And then I did a movie called The Break-Up. I just kinda leaned into the end. I just was like, 'You know what, guys? Let's make this a completely new chapter. Let's just end everything and start new.' It worked great,” Jennifer quipped.
The actress from "Mother's Day" made a remark regarding her marriages in an exclusive interview with Elle in 2018. "When they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn't exist within that arrangement anymore,” Jennifer stated.
"Brad and I are buddies. Like, we're friends and we speak,” Jennifer further elaborated on an episode of “The Howard Stern Show.” During an interview with Vanity Fair in 2006, the host of the "Morning Show" discussed her views regarding Bradd's rapid transition into a new life following the conclusion of their divorce and his subsequent photoshoot with Angelina Jolie, who was Brad's boyfriend at the time.
"I can imagine Brad having absolutely no clue why people would be appalled by it. Brad is not mean-spirited; he would never intentionally try to rub something in my face. In hindsight, I can see him going, ‘Oh—I can see that that was inconsiderate.’ But I know Brad. Brad would say, ‘That’s art!'" Jennifer said. "There's a sensitivity chip that's missing,” she added.
