A Brazilian television host made an awkward blunder recently while introducing the world leaders attending the G20 summit. During a live broadcast, she mistakenly referred to U.S. President Joe Biden as "Bin Laden" instead of Biden.

The host quickly corrected herself, laughing uncontrollably and saying, "I'm crazy this early in the morning," as she tried to recover from the slip-up.

The error comes at a time when the name "Bin Laden" is closely associated with the mastermind behind the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in the United States. Osama bin Laden, the leader of the al-Qaeda terrorist group, was blamed for orchestrating the attacks that led to the deaths of nearly 3,000 people. In response, the U.S. launched a lengthy war in Afghanistan and pursued bin Laden globally.

The mistake was particularly jarring considering bin Laden's notoriety following the attacks, which involved the hijacking of four planes, two of which were flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, and another into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

On May 1, 2011, U.S. President Barack Obama announced the death of bin Laden, confirming that U.S. Navy SEALs had killed the terrorist leader in a raid in Pakistan. The news sparked widespread celebration across the United States, marking a significant moment in the country's ongoing war on terror that began shortly after the 2001 attacks.
