When Selena Gomez announced on Wednesday that she was engaged to Benny Blanco, Hailey Bieber demonstrated her support for her in a way that was not overt.
According to People, on Instagram, the Rhode founder, who is married to Selena's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, "liked" the revelation that Selena had reached an engagement moment.
In the years leading up to her relationship with Benny, Selena was involved in a number of high-profile partnerships, one of which was with Justin, with whom she had a recurrent relationship that lasted from 2010 till 2018.
It was just a few short months after their breakup that the "Yummy" singer, who was 30 at the time, became engaged to Hailey, who was 28 at the time, and they tied the knot two months later.

During an episode of "Call Her Daddy" that aired in September 2022, Hailey had previously refuted the possibility that they had anything other than "respect" and "love" for one another.
After learning that Hailey was receiving "death threats," Selena subsequently repeated the sentiment and stated that "no one should have to experience hate or bullying."
"Hailey reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity," Selena wrote via social media in March 2023.

Benny has not yet disseminated the information on his own social media platforms; nevertheless, he made a cheeky comment under her post, saying, "hey wait... "That is my wife," she said.
