It has been reported that Kanye West has racked up a significant property tax deficit, which amounts to a total of $365,000, as a result of unpaid taxes on his houses and the headquarters of Yeezy.
Recently, the rapper and his lady, Bianca Censori, made the expensive purchase of a Beverly Hills property that cost $35 million.
On the other hand, it would appear that Kanye has made the decision to remain outside of the country while he continues to travel along with her throughout the world.
Kanye has racked up a significant amount of property tax debt on at least six of his properties, which amounts to around $365,000 in taxes that have not been paid.
Despite the fact that the precise timing for the unpaid taxes is still unknown, rumors indicate that Kanye's tax debt has been compounded by monthly penalties to the tune of $3,272 in total.
The "Donda" rapper will also be required to make payments of up to $82,662 by the 10th of April on a number of his properties located in Los Angeles, according to U.S. Sun. The Treasurer and Tax Collector of Los Angeles County will impose additional financial penalties on him if he does not comply with their demands.
It is not known whether he wants to dispute the allegations or clear the bill despite the fact that he has been out from the nation for longer than expected.
Kanye racked up the highest tax bill on his Yeezy headquarters in West Hollywood, which cost $6.7 million and is currently vacant due to the fact that he had the roof ripped off for the purpose of rebuilding.
In addition to the total arrears on the abandoned property amounting to $161,071, the rapper was also subjected to penalties of $1,435 a month.
Kanye also owes around $39,500 in unpaid taxes on a church he bought for $1.5 million in Northridge, with a monthly penalty of $358. Since acquiring the property in January 2023, he hasn't paid taxes on it.
Additionally, his Calabasas ranch home, which has six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms, has a tax debt of $94,364, plus monthly fines of $1,103.
His second Calabasas property, a three-bedroom home, has a tax obligation of $51,179, with monthly penalties of $1,013. Both homes were purchased after his divorce from Kim Kardashian.
Kanye's Westlake condo is behind $6,240 in taxes since December, and his Wyoming ranch owes $13,215 in taxes, with penalty fees unknown.
This follows his $35 million Beverly Hills mansion purchase, a 20,000-square-foot property with luxurious amenities.
Reports say he and Bianca haven't moved in due to his extended absence, reportedly fearing legal action. Sources told the Daily Mail that the mansion was bought as a last effort to stabilize their marriage and provide Bianca with the family and grounding she seeks.
Meanwhile, Kanye remains in Tokyo, avoiding the US amid concerns over legal issues tied to his former friend Sean "Diddy" Combs, per The Blast.
Last week, he was seen shopping at a 7-Eleven with three of his children.
An insider told the Daily Mail that Bianca, frustrated by the lack of stability in their marriage, is stressed by their ongoing legal issues, including a sexual assault lawsuit.
The source added that their plans seem to change daily, with one day focused on moving into their dream home and the next on flipping it.
