Jennifer Lopez, 55, made headlines Monday night after suffering a wardrobe malfunction while arriving at the Ring Them Bells benefit concert celebrating Broadway composer John Kander's 98th birthday. The incident occurred as Lopez posed outside the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in Manhattan wearing a plunging peach gown with feathered sleeves.

As the "Hustlers" actress walked the red carpet, the dress shifted to the side, exposing part of her chest in a moment that was captured by photographers. Despite the mishap, Lopez proceeded confidently into the venue without addressing the situation.

Later that evening, Lopez exited the event in a different ensemble - a white high-neck gown with a structured asymmetric hemline, jewel collar, and dramatic train. She paired the look with a silver clutch and platform heels.

The benefit concert, hosted by Alan Cumming, featured multiple performers paying tribute to Kander, best known for composing scores for Broadway staples such as Cabaret, Chicago, and Kiss of the Spider Woman. Lopez is currently starring in a new film adaptation of Kiss of the Spider Woman, directed by Bill Condon and also featuring Diego Luna and newcomer Tonatiuh Elizarraraz.

At the film's Sundance Film Festival premiere in January, Lopez received a standing ovation that left her emotional. "I've been waiting for this moment my whole life," Lopez said during the screening at the Eccles Theatre, according to Variety. "The reason I even wanted to be in this business is because my mom would sit me in front of the TV and ['West Side Story'] would come on once a year. I was mesmerized and was like, 'That's what I want to do.'"

The singer and actress also served as a producer on the film alongside her now ex-husband Ben Affleck. The two finalized their divorce in January 2025, following a separation in April 2024. The couple, who had purchased a $61 million Beverly Hills home together, settled the property division amicably.

In an Interview Magazine piece published in October, Lopez broke her silence about the split, stating she is "excited" about the future and "not looking for anybody." She said: "I know I'm a good person. I know I'm a good mom. I know who my friends are. I know my friends know who I am, my mom, my dad, all that stuff."

Lopez has remained close with Affleck and their blended family of five children.

Reports continue to surface about Lopez's personal life. A source told DailyMail.com that "Jennifer wants to be in love again." Though she was linked to Yellowstone star Kevin Costner over the holidays, the source claimed Lopez is interested in "a guy like [Rip Wheeler], someone who can have her back and make sure she is OK."

As for her professional plans, Lopez is currently filming Office Romance in New Jersey with Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein and is set to perform at the World Pride Music Festival in Washington, D.C., on June 6. She also plans to celebrate her 56th birthday in July with her twins, Max and Emme.
