Justin Bieber publicly acknowledged personal shortcomings and deepened ongoing speculation about the health of his marriage to Hailey Bieber with a candid social media post Tuesday, days after addressing relationship strains in lyrics from his newly released album Swag. The 31-year-old pop star wrote, "Thanking Jesus for his patience with me this morning. I can be extremely selfish and impatient yet Jesus always has his arms open toward me."

The message, shared via X (formerly Twitter), was accompanied by photos of Bieber walking through a wooded path, dressed casually in a T-shirt, shorts, hiking boots, and bright pink sunglasses. "Let's have a good day, let's go outside Get in nature," he added.

The post came just two weeks after the release of Swag, in which Bieber directly referenced tension in his relationship with Hailey, 28. On the track "Walking Away," he sings, "Girl, we better stop before we say some s-t / We've been testing our patience / I think we better off if we just take a break / And remember what grace is." He later affirms commitment, adding, "Baby, I ain't walking away. You were my diamond / Gave you a ring / I made you a promise. I told you, 'I'd change' / It's just human nature / These growing pains."

Though the couple presented a united front at the album's release party in Los Angeles last Thursday-posting a photo of them kissing-concerns about their marriage have persisted. A source told Page Six that Bieber "doesn't particularly handle [fame] well" and still has "underlying issues." Another insider cited the toll of being famous since adolescence, saying, "It breaks a lot of people. I'm concerned about him."

Earlier this year, Bieber faced backlash for a since-deleted Instagram caption celebrating Hailey's Vogue cover. "Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight, I told hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes I know, so mean," he wrote. "For some reason because I felt so disrespected I thought I gotta get even."

He concluded the post by asking forgiveness: "So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn't get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken." Critics labeled the caption "disrespectful" and "backhanded," prompting Bieber to remove it and replace it with emojis.

Despite the scrutiny, the couple appears to remain committed. Hailey, who co-founded Rhode Skin, continues to share moments from their private life and professional celebrations. The pair share one child, 11-month-old son Jack Blues.

Bieber's spiritual tone and introspection drew praise from fans on X, with one writing, "Stop being so hard on yourself, you're literally a human, sir!!" Another added, "We love you, thank you for everything and thank you for Swag! We, the fans, are super happy and excited about this album."
