Kim Kardashian publicly questioned the guidance of the spiritual advisers long associated with her family, after confirming she did not pass the California bar exam. In a TikTok video recorded during Kris Jenner's 70th birthday celebration, the business executive and media personality sharply criticized multiple psychics who she said had assured her that she would pass the test.
"All of the fing psychics that we have met with, and that we're obsessed with, are all fing full of s***," Kardashian said while having her makeup done. "They all collectively, maybe four of them, have told me I was gonna pass the bar, so they're all full pathological liars. Don't believe anything they say."
Kardashian, 45, confirmed earlier this month that she did not pass the California bar exam, which she took in July 2025. On Instagram, she acknowledged the setback but said she plans to continue. "Well... I'm not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV," she wrote. "Six years into this law journey, and I'm still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up, just more studying and even more determination."
Her legal pursuit began in 2019 under California's Law Office Study Program, which allows aspiring attorneys to apprentice with a practicing law firm in place of attending an accredited law school. Kardashian passed the First-Year Law Students' Examination, commonly known as the "baby bar," in 2021 on her fourth attempt, writing at the time: "OMFGGGG I PASSED THE BABY BAR EXAM!!!!"
The bar exam was her next major hurdle. After learning she did not meet the passing threshold, Kardashian said she intends to sit again. "I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let's go!!!!!!!!!!!" she posted to Instagram, adding that "falling short isn't failure, it's fuel."
Her comments about psychics mark a shift in tone from her previous public statements. Kardashian has long discussed seeking spiritual reassurance, including visits to mediums she said helped her feel connected to her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr. She has also spoken about receiving personal predictions about her children's futures.
