Apple Music named Rosé and Bruno Mars' "APT." the most-streamed song of 2025, placing the K-pop and pop collaboration at the top of nearly every major year-end chart released this week. The track ranked No. 1 on Apple Music's global songs tally, Shazam's global chart, global radio, and lyrics charts, underscoring an unusually dominant performance for a single release. The service called 2025 "undoubtedly" the year of the Rosé-Mars hit in its announcement.
The song, released in October 2024, has continued to accumulate cultural momentum heading into the 2026 Grammy Awards, where it remains a contender for both song and record of the year. Its performance also reinforced Apple Music's broader goal of elevating Replay '25, the company's expanded analytics and year-end user showcase that competes directly with Spotify Wrapped.
Rosé's and Mars's lead was followed by Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "Luther," Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' "Die With a Smile," Lamar's "Not Like Us," and Billie Eilish's "Birds of a Feather." Lamar appeared five times in the top 25 and nine times in the top 100, the strongest performance of any rap artist. Morgan Wallen led all musicians in total entries, placing 12 songs on the global top-100 list.
Across other metrics, Lola Young's "Messy" finished as the second-most Shazamed song of the year and reached No. 3 on global radio. Alex Warren's "Ordinary" placed No. 4 on both Shazam and global radio charts. On the lyrics chart, Huntr/x's "Golden" reached No. 4, reflecting increasing crossover traction for music tied to KPop Demon Hunters.
Apple's release detailed its multichart breakdown, with "APT." topping global songs, Shazam, global radio, and lyrics, while Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' "Die With a Smile" led the Sing chart. The platform's annual lists reinforce the breadth of Mars's presence, with three top-five appearances across different collaborations.
Replay '25 includes expanded analytics for subscribers, enabling users to review minutes listened, top genres, artist streaks, discovery habits, comebacks, and loyalty metrics. Apple added new creator-facing tools this year, offering musicians visibility into listening-growth trends and year-over-year shifts in their fan base.
K-pop artists saw a notable footprint. Rosé's fellow Blackpink member Jennie entered the global top-100 with "Like Jennie" at No. 62, while Aespa was the only K-pop group to chart, landing "Whiplash" at No. 33. Huntrix - the girl group from KPop Demon Hunters voiced by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami - placed highest among soundtrack acts, with "Golden" reaching No. 15 on the global songs chart and No. 4 on lyrics and Sing.
