A new episode of The Kardashians has reignited tensions between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, after Kardashian said the rapper once accused her of faking the violent 2016 robbery in Paris. The allegation surfaced as the reality star revisited the high-profile incident during Paris Fashion Week in 2016 and the lengthy legal process that followed. With eight suspects convicted in May 2025 for the $10 million theft, Kardashian used the episode to describe the personal cost of years of public doubt.

Kardashian recalled that a group of armed intruders threatened her inside her Paris accommodation, an event that drew global media coverage and a multiyear investigation. She noted that skepticism from public figures was deeply painful. "Howard Stern was famously mocking it all the time. He was saying that I'm sick and it's such a joke and I made it all up. I remember he was so defiant about it," Kardashian said, as reported by Us Weekly. "And I was like, 'How can you be so certain? People trust you.' That always stuck with me."

She then revealed that the disbelief extended into her own home at the time of the attack. "Even my ex-husband had said, 'You've faked your robbery for a TV show.' And he had said that in front of all these people," Kardashian said, describing the remark as "a knife to my heart."

Kardashian said the progression of the case in the Paris court system brought relief, allowing her to see the suspects face sentencing years after the attack. The episode also showed her family responding to the renewed discussion. Khloé Kardashian said her sister was deeply wounded by those who doubted her account, while Kris Jenner said, "The narrative that my daughter would make something like this up was ludicrous. It was just unfathomable that somebody could have said something like that."

The conflict between Kardashian and West, who divorced in 2021, has widened in recent months as both navigate co-parenting their four children: North, 12; Saint, 9; Chicago, 7; and Psalm, 5. Kardashian said one of the children has become aware of the situation, adding pressure to maintain stability. "As much as people think that I have the luxury of walking away and not dealing ever again, that's not my reality. This person - we have four kids together," she said.

Earlier episodes of the series documented Kardashian's frustration with West's public behavior. "Sometimes I just feel like snapping, but I can't. I just can't," she said, according to People. Kardashian also linked the ongoing stress from West's public disputes to flare-ups of her skin condition, underscoring the personal impacts of the feud.
