Everyone is eyeing for at least $60-million earnings in North America alone for the much anticipated Tom Cruise’s ‘Mission: Impossible-Fallout’ in its July debut.

With the comeback of Ethan Hunt, many are expecting that this can be the biggest yet since this action-pack spy series started eighteen years ago.

The big anticipation can be attributed to the impressive trailer campaigns and the blockbuster of the latest franchise in 2015 ‘Rogue Nation’ which earned $55.5-million in its domestic opening. It earned around $680-million globally.

The highest earning franchise during its opening was the ‘Mission: Impossible 2’ in 2000 which gained $57.8-million. The lowest was the 2011’s ‘Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol’ with $29.6-million.
Adding to the excitement are the headliners on the major stunts that Cruise himself hurdled for this film, with no doubles. One of the much talked about shots was that of Cruise jumping off for a skydiving scene at 200 mph. This was perfected in 106 takes.

Also, for the first time in the franchise, the ‘Fallout’ will be released in the 3D format. This makes it more appealing for worldwide audiences.

The ‘Mission: Impossible-Fallout’ was directed and written by Christopher McQuarrie, who also directed the ‘Rogue Nation.’ Cruise is one of the producers of the film along with the heads of Paramount and Skydance Productions.

Alec Baldwin, Michelle Monaghan, Sean Harris, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson and Ving Rhames are reprising their roles for this film. Newcomers are Vanessa Kirby and Sian Brooke.

The ‘Mission: Impossible-Fallout’ is the 6th franchise for the Mission Impossible films.
The first was ‘Mission: Impossible’ in 1996 (directed by Brian De Palma), followed by ‘Mission: Impossible 2’ in 2000 (John Woo), ‘Mission: Impossible 3’ in 2006 (JJ Abrams), ‘Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol’ in 2011 (Brad Bird), and ‘Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation in 2015 (Christopher McQuarrie).
