Amidst ongoing public speculations, the Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin engagement rumors have finally been shed light. A source with close ties to the music celebrity confirms to CNN that indeed, the two are now engaged.
The "Love Yourself" singer himself further gives weight to the news. In his lengthy Instagram post, the 24-year-old performer opens up about his commitment to spend his life with the 21-year-old fashion icon.
"You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn't want to spend it with anybody else," the Canadian star said. Bieber went on to express his excitement for what he called "the best season of life yet!" He also revealed the significance of their engagement date, July 7, was for him. "...the number seven is the number of spiritual perfection, it's true GOOGLE IT!" Bieber said. "By the way, I didn't plan that..." He then cited a verse from the Bible (Proverbs 18:22) to end the post: "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains FAVOR from the Lord!" This is the year of favor!!!!" Baldwin, on her part, took to Twitter to share her sentiments.

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that the proposal took place in the Caribbean while the two are vacationing.
The media outlet further cited their own source revealing the closeness of the two ever since they get back to dating about a month ago.
The future Mr. and Mrs. Bieber dated back to 2016 before parting ways. However, the subsequent string of rumors linked the two together on and off in the succeeding years until their most recent rekindling. As told by EOnline, the multi-Grammy award winner and TV personality reconnected weeks ago while on a trip to Miami and New York City.
Aside from his other worldwide hits like "Sorry" and "Girlfriend," Bieber also appeared in several films like "Men in Black 3" and "Zoolander 2."
Meanwhile, Baldwin is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and the niece of "Beetlejuice" star, Alec Baldwin.
