Despite worries from the public, the production of George Clooney's miniseries "Catch-22" will be catching on to its filming schedule. This is despite the recent scooter mishap suffered by Clooney while on location shooting in Italy.

Sources for Page Six went on to spill out details about the small screen project saying that it is expected to wrap up filming in Sardinia this week. The set will later be moving on to Rome.

"Production is continuing as planned," yet another insider for the media outlet was quoted as saying, referring to the Rome filming schedule.

The Oscar winner was recently involved in a minor vehicular accident on Tuesday, at 8 a.m. local time in Sardinia. Clooney, who is serving both as the lead actor and executive producer of the show, was reportedly thrown from the scooter he was riding after colliding with a Mercedes Benz car.

Earlier accounts from the Telegraph said that the 57-year-old was on his route to work when the accident took place.

Local reports cited by the news outlet said that Clooney suffered "trauma to his knee." The "Ocean's Eleven" headliner was immediately taken by an ambulance to a hospital in Olbia where he was subsequently released.

Mr. Clooney's wife, Amal, rushed to the hospital where the actor was admitted.

Meanwhile, follow-up reports from Deadline said that aside from the knee injury, the father of two also suffered trauma to the pelvis and bruises to the arm.

Thankfully, no serious injuries or broken bones were further incurred due to the event. However, Clooney will still require regular monitoring, as an outpatient, for less than a month.

Besides Clooney, "Catch-22" will also feature the acts of British star Hugh Laurie (known for his role in "House M.D.") and "Preacher" actor Julie Ann Emery.

The series is based on the book of the same name by author Joseph Heller.
