Rumors are rife surrounding the slate of new products from Apple, including a revamped edition of the Mac line. Moreover, recent analytics may confirm the arrival of three new iPhones.
Long-time tech pundit Ming-Chi Kuo recently slid out some fresh tidbits, hinting the public on what's brewing inside the walls of the Cupertino-based tech giant.
According to 9to5Mac, the Apple supply chain analyst has once again published a slew of research notes on Wednesday detailing some predictions on Apple's upcoming plans. This includes shaking up the Mac product line which will be hitting the shelves this fall in the US.
As further hinted at Kuo's predictions, there will be hardware upgrades on Apple's Macbook, MacBook Pro, and the iMac. More specifically, the boost will focus on implementing "significant display-performance upgrades."
Moreover, Kuo's papers indicated the possibility that the company is replacing the MacBook Air with a laptop that falls either in the entry or mid-level price range.
The notes went on to give clues about the purported Mac mini overhaul. Of course, followers of the tech trend will know that it has been quite a while since the tablet device received some update.
"It has been 1,364 days since Apple updated the Mac Mini" the prolific prognosticator was quoted as saying over at The Verge.
Along with these exciting new developments, there are other points of the notes that will surely bring cheer to tech enthusiasts.
3 New iPhones
Kuo stood by his earlier hunch that Apple will roll out three new iPhones to the market. The new models will reportedly sport an updated look of the iPhone X which will now have a 5.8-inch OLED screen. There is also the rumored iPhone X Plus OLED model that will wear a 6.5-inch screen. Meanwhile, hopes are being given for Apple to finally release a midrange LCD iPhone model that allegedly has a 6.1-inch screen.
iPads
The new iPad Pro lineup with Face ID is also said to be in the works. It has an updated bezel-less design, and there will no longer be a Home button.
Apple Watch
Two new Apple Watch units with larger displays could come out this year: the 1.57-inch and the 1.78-inch versions.
AirPods
The new handsfree headsets could now be AirPower-compatible thanks to its new wireless changing case.
