'Keeping Up With the Kardashian' Kylie Jenner is on her way to be a billionaire. Once she achieved her first billion, it was said that she will be the youngest ever "self-made billionaire" in America.

Forbes claimed that Jenner is worth $900M after amassing a huge amount from her cosmetic business. The magazine notes that the reality star and make-up mogul is only 20 years old but she already accomplished something that is not an easy feat.

Currently, she ranks 27th on the list of Forbes' richest self-made women in the U.S. She beat the likes of Barbra Streisand ($400M), Beyonce Knowles ($335M) and Taylor Swift ($320M).

Now, once Kylie Jenner makes $100M more and eventually push her worth to $1B, she will take over the title from Facebook's founder, Mark Zuckerberg, as the youngest billionaire. The American tech entrepreneur got the title when he was 23 years old.

What's more amazing is the fact that the 'KUWTK' mainstay just started her company three years ago. This means that she reached business success at an incredible speed by selling cosmetics under the label "Kylie."

How she started her multimillion cosmetic brand?

In one of the episodes of the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Jenner revealed that she is insecure of her lips and this was why she relied on dermafillers to make it look fuller. But later in the show, she said that she decided to stop getting fillers for her lips and that was how her Kylie Cosmetics was born.

From there, she created a line of lip products that will make lips look bigger then she began selling them. Unlike most of the cosmetic brands out here, Jenner's products are mostly sold online. But despite this, her items always get sold out and her online store's servers even crash from time to time due to the massive influx of buyers.

Now, just a day after the Forbes magazine, with Kylie Jenner on the cover, hit the newsstands, the publication faced a backlash. The criticisms stemmed from the word "self-made" which was used to describe the 20-year-old as she achieved the multi-millionaire status at a very young age, CNN reported.

People were saying that she should not be called self-made because she was originally born from a rich family. They argued that it was not like Kylie started from scratch, with no money, then work her way up to earn her millions. One social media user also commented that "Her story is not inspiring or motivating for anyone."

Finally, in response to the negative reactions, Forbes stated, "We consider any person who built her own fortune, and didn't inherit the money, to be self-made. So top executives at tech firms who are compensated for helping significantly grow companies make the ranks but not second-generation women running family businesses."
