Chuku Modu, the 'Game of Thrones' actor, is now part of the 'Captain Marvel' flick. Although the cast and crew already wrapped up filming last week, the production team still cast the said actor so it is likely that there are parts to be reshoot.
As mentioned in Comic Book, for Marvel Studios, adding or taking out some characters is a normal thing. Even if the film has already been completed, the scenes are filmed again according to the changes and this is why reshoots are common in this production outfit.
Right now, 'Captain Marvel' has entered the post-production process and since the target airing date is in March next year, reshoots should be done as soon as possible.
Marvel Studios remained very tight-lipped with regards to the final cast lineup of the film so fans do not exactly have an idea of who they will see on the screen once the movie is out.
Then again, while it is not a complete list, some of the confirmed cast members include Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Samuel L. Jackson, Gemma Chan, Jude Law, Lee Pace, Annette Bening and Ben Mendelsohn.
Other names in the cast list are Djimon Hounsou, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Ana Ayora, Vik Sahay, Clark Gregg and Kenneth Mitchell.
At any rate, Chuku Modu's role in 'Captain Marvel' was not revealed so he might just surprise the fans when the film premieres. The 28-year-old played as Dr. Jared Kalu in the first season of ABC's 'The Good Doctor.' He was also in HBO's 'Game of Thrones' as a guest and he was given the role of a Dothraki warrior.
As per IMDb, the exact premiere date of 'Captain Marvel' is on March 8, 2019. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck directed the movie.
The story will center on Carol Danvers and how she turned into one of the most powerful heroes in the universe at the time when Earth has been caught in the galactic war between two alien races. Fans will see 'Captain Marvel' set in the year 1990 and all-new adventure will unfold in this era as she battles with the villains.
Meanwhile, 'Captain Marvel' star Samuel Jackson will be digitally de-age and this is the first film to do so. Another cast, Clark Gregg, will be also be de-aged by 25 years so he can fit into the 90's of the movie, Mary Sue reported.
