The spoilers for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episodes 67 and 68 tease more exciting scenes ahead. The anime series recently released its summary for the upcoming episodes and it features two mysterious ninjas - who could it be?
'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Episode 66 Recap
As a quick recap, the 66th episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" opened up with Boruto Uzumaki (voiced by Yuko Sanpei) asking forgiveness to everyone after he caused chaos amid the Chunin Examination.
While everyone seemed to forgive him already, Boruto can be seen still heavily bothered. It was then revealed that he remembered Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki's (voiced by Daisuke Namikawa) last words about his eyes.
As recalled, Momoshiki told Boruto that he could foresee his fate clearly and cautioned him about his blue eyes, stating that it would take everything from him one day. He then left a mark on the latter's right palm and added that he should keep on following his own path.
'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Episodes 67 & 68 Spoilers
Now, several reports suggest that "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will finally enter a new arc called "Chocho Arc" this August. The story will heavily revolve around Chocho Akimichi (voiced by Ryōko Shiraishi), who is the only child of Karui (voiced by Yuka Komatsu) and Chōji Akimichi (voiced by Kentarō Itō).
In the upcoming 67th episode, Team 7 (Boruto, Mitsuki, and Sarada) and Team 10 (Chocho, Shikadai, and Inojin) will be entrusted to ensure the safety of the popular actor, Tomaru and his on-screen partner, Ashina, after they receive a death threat.
Upon hearing the nature of the mission, Chocho suddenly becomes conscious about her body. Thus, she is expected to use her Butterfly Transformation Technique in order to achieve a slimmer figure.
However, Team 7 and Team 10 should not take the mission lightly as the spoilers for the anime's upcoming 68th episode tease the arrival of two mysterious ninjas who are wearing gas masks. Their sudden assault will reportedly injure Ashina, forcing her to take a break from acting.
"The main actor Tomaru has specified a person to stand in for the actress, and that person is Chocho," the summary for the show's 68th episode reads. "Tomaru has taken an interest in the slimmed-down Chocho, and Tomaru's attitude has Chocho over the moon."
The 67th episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," titled "Super Cho-Cho Super Mode!," is set to be released on Aug. 2.
