There is still no official word relating to "Haikyuu!!" season 4, which fans have been patiently since 2016. But that does not stop fans from speculating what could happen next once the popular anime series returns.

In the 4th season of "Haikyuu!!," viewers will witness the much-anticipated match between the Metropolitan Nekoma High and Fukurōdani Academy for a spot in the nationals. The game will start with a bad serve from Yamato Sarukui (voiced by Junji Tachibana).

It will, then, be picked up by Morisuke Yaku (voiced by Shinnosuke Tachibana) and spike down by Tetsuro Kuroo (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura). Kotarō Bokuto (voiced by Ryōhei Kimura) will then earn the point back by spiking the ball against the blocker's hand, ultimately sending it to the bleachers.

After several rounds, the match will end with Fukurōdani Academy winning 28-30 against Metropolitan Nekoma High. While the latter's representatives are upset, that does not stop them from confronting their next adversary, Nohebi Academy. The winner will be the host representatives at nationals.

In addition to that, the 4th season of "Haikyuu!!" will also see Kei Tsukishima (voiced by Koki Uchiyama) and Shoyo Hinata (voiced by Ayumu Murase) attending the Miyagi First-Year Intensive Training Camp organized by Shiratorizawa's coach.

There, Shoyo Hinata will ace the split step and figure out how to foresee a spiking course. This will allow him to respond and position himself to receive a powerful spike impeccably.

While things are going smoothly for Shoyo Hinata, it is the opposite for Tobio Kageyama (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa) who decides to attend a training at the all Japan youth training camp. His absence would cause chaos in his teammates who heavily relies on his impressive setting skills.

While nothing has been set in stone yet, the much-awaited season of the popular anime series may reportedly adopt more than 100 chapters from its manga counterpart, as per OtakuKart. Thus, it is safe to say that it will run for more or less 50 episodes.

However, production company Production I.G., director Susumu Mitsunaka and series creator Haruichi Furudate continued to remain mum about the 4th season of "Haikyuu!!." That being said, the spoilers and predictions for the much-awaited season should be taken with a grain of salt.
