Can love be sweeter the second time around? It has been rumored that Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston could be ready to rekindle their romance after their split back in 2017.
The rumors started after Justin Theroux's high-end cars - Porsche Panamera and Mercedes Benz - have been spotted inside Jennifer Aniston's mansion in Santa Monica. The Porsche Panamera, which is worth more than $140,000, was given to him by the 49-year-old actress as a Christmas present in 2012.
However, an unnamed source close to Jennifer Aniston debunked such claims, stating that the spotted high-end cars on her garage do not entirely mean that they are rekindling their romance. There is also no chance that they will get back together.
"Sadly, there's no hope whatsoever of Justin and Jen ever getting back together," the unnamed source told the Hollywood Life. "They're polar opposites and it just doesn't work well for them to be together long term. When they first got together they both loved how different their lifestyles were-Jen enjoyed hanging out with Justin's edgy and arty New York pals, and he really got into chilling in LA," the source added.
The source went ahead to say that the two's split was pretty amicable and there was no cheating or any huge blow-out flight involved. It is just that they grew apart and decided that their marriage was not going to work.
Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston, who co-starred in the comedy film "Wanderlust," started dating in 2011. After four years of dating, the two tied the knot in August 2015 at their Los Angeles' Bel-Air estate.
In February 2018, the two announced in a statement that they had been separated at the end of 2017. It is said that their different lifestyles played a significant role in their decision to throw in the towel.
According to a source (via PEOPLE), Justin Theroux often spends a couple of days in New York City by himself, while Jennifer Aniston catches up with her own set of friends. While it helped them appreciate more the time they spent together, the setup eventually took a toll on their relationship.
As of this time, both of them are busy with several on-going projects. The "Friends" actress will star next as Rosie Dickson in Anne Fletcher's upcoming musical comedy film, "Dumplin'." She will also star alongside Adam Sandler and Luke Evans in "Murder Mystery."
Justin Theroux, on the other hand, will serve as the voice of Dropkick in the upcoming science fiction film, "Bumblebee." He will also play Mel Wulf in the upcoming biographical drama film, "On the Basis of Sex."
