Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got married, the news about her pregnancy is rampant. The rumor has it the 37-year-old actress is now pregnant and the royal couple will have a baby boy.
A gossip magazine revealed Markle and Prince Harry would soon have a baby boy. Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have yet to confirm the news, it claimed they already announced the child's gender.
It also added Markle and Prince Harry are about to "take a month off" from their royal duties. This even makes the rumors about the former "Suits" star's pregnancy stronger.
However, it also claimed Prince Charles was the one who confirmed the news and revealed the baby's gender.
The outlet even used the two little bears Prince Charles was seen holding on his trip to Devon as the "surest sign" that Markle is indeed pregnant. The stuffed toys are believed to be the Prince of Wales' present to Markle and Prince Harry after he learned the news.
However, Gossip Cop revealed there is no truth to this claim. Although it is true Prince Charles held teddy bears when he came to Devon, it remained to be unknown if these are for Markle and Prince Harry. It also has nothing to do with the "Horrible Bosses" star's alleged pregnancy.
Also, it is not true Markle and Prince Harry called off their royal duties. In fact, after they had spent their time in Oxfordshire, they also visited the Clooneys in Italy.
They are even set to attend a special performance of "Hamilton" on August 29. Kensington Palace also announced they would grace a couple of events on September 4 and 6.
If Markle and Prince Harry or even Prince Charles indeed announced the pregnancy and baby's gender, they evidently break the royal protocol. According to The Sun, there are standard rules the royal family has to follow if Markle gets pregnant.
The typical standard rule of all is no one is set to know the baby's gender. In fact, Kate Middleton and Prince William chose not to know their newborn's gender until she gave birth.
Pregnant royals are also encouraged to lessen their international travels. This has something to do with their safety. Although it cannot be helped royal women have activities to do until they give birth, they should stay "as close to home as possible." Royal women's maternity leave will be official once the baby is born.
In addition, if Meghan and Prince Harry are already expecting, Queen Elizabeth is the first one to know the news. The Majesty should be right away informed of a new royal birth.
