It was Gossip Cop that debunked the engagement claim. Also, a rep for the "Guardians Of The Galaxy" actor confirmed that no proposal had been made.
It is worth noting that Pratt has been dating the titular lifestyle blogger for a couple of months. But as far as the tabloid report is concerned, the actor is said to have popped the question a couple of weeks ago.
According to the alleged insider, "The proposal was very simple and understated. They didn't want to draw any attention to it. She's a simple girl. She didn't need an over-the-top production."
The only catch, however, is that are no further details about the "simple and understated" engagement. For instance, no location where the proposal took place and what happened next.
The questionable insider even suggests that the two are excited to become husband and wife. Interestingly, if marriage arrives, Schwarzenegger will be the official stepmom to Pratt's 5-year-old son named Jack. The latter is the child the actor shares with ex Anna Faris.
Pratt and Faris have yet to finalize their divorce. This, in particular, makes the story of the publication even less credible.
