Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are believed to have exchanged vows at the latter's Oklahoma ranch. Unfortunately for their fans, the pair has yet to walk down the aisle.

According to Gossip Cop, the untrue report came from the same tabloid that reported about the two getting married almost exactly two years ago. The report appears to be bogus and without proof.

Sometime in August 2016, the false publication announced on a cover "Gwen & Blake: Secrets Of The Ceremony!" The front of the issue even further touted, "The Vows, The Gown, The Guests."

But in the article itself, it switched from making fans think the couple had exchanged vows to saying they would be marrying come October of that year. The fall came, but Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton remained an unmarried couple.

The untraceable source said that the "secret ceremony" happened outdoors. It has been attended by at least 45 guests, all of whom gathered to witness the starry-eyed lovers get hitched. The said source even claimed that the wedding cost Stefani and Shelton about $20,000.

It is true that Stefani took some time to spend her spring break at Shelton's ranch. But as far as the wedding is concerned, it did not happen. Even a quick online search of marriage records in the state of Oklahoma suggests that the pair has yet to tie the knot.

Inquisitr reports that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton went public with their relationship in November 2015. This was after striking up a romance on the set of "The Voice" Season 9. During that time, both parties were newly single after highly publicized splits from their former spouses, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, respectively.

While Stefani and Shelton are far from getting engaged, there is always a possibility of a future marriage. Earlier this year, Stefani admitted during an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show that she thinks about marrying Shelton "all the time."
