The long wait is almost over. As the release date of "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" draws closer, producer David Heyman has spilled some exciting details on what fans can expect from the second installment.

In an interview with Cinema Blend, producer David Heyman said that fans would get to know more about Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) in the upcoming "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald." The character, who made his debut at the end of the first installment, is said to be an infamous, powerful dark wizard who is great at persuading people.

"A really scary one, because he has the power of persuasion," the 57-year-old English film producer said. "He's very seductive. He can make people follow him because he is as persuasive as he is. He's incredibly charismatic. He is wonderfully amoral. Or awfully amoral, depending on which way you look at it," he added.

Gellert Grindelwald, who was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America) in New York towards the end of the first installment, will soon escape custody. He will, then, persuade more wizards to join his cause - which is to rise dominance over the Wizarding World.

Afterward, the infamous dark wizard will set up a new base of operations in Paris. To thwart his villainous plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) will enlist the help of his former student, Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne).

As Newt Scamander tracks down Gellert Grindelwald, he will once again run into his old friends, Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler), Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston), Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol).

On top of that, "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" will also see the return of Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller). The character, who actually survived the confrontation with MACUSA, now has total control of his Obscurus.

Aside from the aforementioned characters, the second installment in the "Fantastic Beats" franchise also stars Zoë Kravitz as Leta Lestrange, Callum Turner as Theseus Scamander, Claudia Kim as The Maledictus, William Nadylam as Yusuf Kama, Kevin Guthrie as Abernathy, and Carmen Ejogo as Seraphina Picquery, the President of MACUSA.

"Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" is set to arrive on Nov. 16. While waiting, check out the trailer below:
