Another story courtesy of a malicious site is claiming that the infamous feud between Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia has ended. The fake news further states that this all became possible thanks to Chrissy Metz.
Radar Online falsely claims that Moore and Ventimiglia found trouble during their "This Is Us" set. The actor, who is described as "melancholy and not cheerful," is largely blamed for the feud. These characteristics of him, though, allegedly made Moore feel alienated and the rest of his co-stars.
"She may just be reaching her breaking point," the so-called "source" maintains. Now, the fake news site is clamoring that the two have settled everything.
For starters, the co-stars were never "bickering," Gossip Cop reports. There is even no single evidence to suggest that the two had a feud. This also debunks the rumor that Metz intervened and helped in the reconciliation.
Today reports that there is an apparent bond between Moore and Ventimiglia. The actor also revealed that he and the American singer-songwriter watched the episodes together.
In July, Moore took to Instagram to wish Ventimiglia a happy birthday. Her post reads, "As remarkable as Jack Pearson is, this guy is even better."
This is not the first time that the false site reported about the co-stars supposed feud. On one occasion, it insisted that Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia had "a tumultuous relationship." It went further by saying that the dispute began when the producers handed the role to the actor.
During an interview with Deadline, the casting director of "This Is Us" discussed the process and the audition. It turns out that Ventimiglia had to read for the role and that he was not even the first choice for the part.
Ventimiglia also confirmed this during a feature in Variety, where he also revealed the happy atmosphere within the set.
