Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are not back together despite a new tabloid cover story. Although Affleck is undergoing treatment for alcoholism, he and Garner are not romantically reconciling.
The new cover of OK! announced, "Jen & Ben Back Together!" Inside the issue, the alleged source of the magazine claims that after "convincing" Affleck to return to rehab, Garner has "agreed to give their marriage another shot." Garner staged an intervention to her ex-husband as he went back to alcohol addiction.
The tipster also said that when Garner recently staged an intervention, "she promised him if he gets sober they'll renew their vows in a private, yet romantic, ceremony and become a family again."
"Ben realized that he's no good on his own and that he wants his old life back. He wants to be with Jen," the untraceable tipster said. The magazine further asserted that was the only "motivation" Affleck needed to hear.
Also, the alleged insider noted that Garner also "can't let go," and has "always wanted to stick it out" because she "loves him and feels she owes it to her kids to make things work with their dad."
But, according to Gossip Cop, none of these claims are true. It has been previously reported that Garner and Affleck have already finalized their divorce settlement. They are planning to sign it once again when Affleck leaves the rehab.
Another report earlier this week noted that Affleck is serious about his sobriety, and said: "They both want to move on." As per the report of US Weekly last week, Garner does not agree with a lot of Affleck decision, and that she is not going to involve herself.
Still, the tabloid and the alleged source asserted Garner is moving some of Affleck's belongings to her house. However, the pictures of moving trucks are taken from the day before Affleck went back to the rehab. There are no photos of the moving trucks at Garner's nearby home.
Back in April, OK! also claimed that Garner is pregnant with Affleck's baby, but as per Gossip Cop, there is no proof Garner is indeed pregnant. The outlet has the similar cover story in April of 2017, claiming Garner is pregnant with twins, but this has never been true until now.
A confidante of Garner declined to speak about the matter, but tells that this new story of Garner and Affleck getting back together is "total lies."
