Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continue to be on the spotlight following their controversial split. Now, the latter is rumored to be getting "revenge" on the former after seeing former lover Jennifer Aniston. It is an untrue story.
A site known for spreading fake news called National Enquirer claims that Jolie "clobbered" Pitt for being a "deadbeat dad." It even maintains that the "Inglorious Basterds" actor was sneaking off so that he can meet and hook up with Anniston.
The publication fronts a so-called tipster, who alleges that the "Wanted" actress feels "humiliated" after what Pitt did. Also, she is poised to come up with some "revenge plans" against her estranged husband.
The supermarket tabloid claims that the former couple has had "steamy romps all summer," which Jolie only recently knew about. "Angie had decided to call off the divorce and win Brad back. But now she's furious," contends the magazine. The said source asserts Jolie is "putting the screws to him" because she is Pitt has seen Anniston behind her back all along.
Gossip Cop, however, insists that this story is nowhere near reality. It is merely a fake headline looking to gather clicks. Even the previous story it published a week ago was also fake. During that time, the publication wrote an article about Jolie's intention to reunite with Pitt and "call off" the divorce.
As for the "steam romps" involving Pitt and Aniston, these can never happen. That is because the exes have been in and out of different countries. For instance, Aniston was reportedly filming an upcoming movie titled "Murder Mystery" with Adam Sandler in Montreal and Italy recently this week.
Pitt, on the other hand, has been on the set of "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" in Los Angeles, Daily Mail reports. This is proof that the claims about the former couple spending the summer together - and romantically - are untrue. Neither does it has anything to do with Jolie trying to ramp up her custody battle.
Though, the fake news site is repeating the bogus contentions, similarly insisting Jolie is trying to get "revenge" because of supposed hookups between Pitt and Aniston. It even uses the same quotes. The facts, however, remain the same: Pitt and Aniston have not been seeing each other, and have been thousands of miles apart. This make-up storyline is simply there to fool readers into clicking and visiting the site.
