Meghan Markle is once again a victim of a false tabloid story. The latter insists that the Duchess of Sussex fled to Los Angeles.

According to Gossip Cop, it is true that Markle has a lot on her plate. However, this does not include a visit to California, which is a narrative the site mentioned above suggests.

An infamous tabloid site called Life & Style misleads readers by featuring a photo of Prince Harry's wife with luggage on its cover. It even has a teaser that says, "Meghan's Secret Crisis: Why She Rushed Home To LA!" Not only is this clickbait, but this is also a switch.

The way the front issue is worded only makes readers think the former "Suits" star already went on a trip, with the image being the evidenced. But as far as the story is concerned, it is about a supposed future trip.

Still, another photo was used to illustrate the article, making it appear like paparazzi caught Markle on the run. What the magazine does not seem to acknowledge the fact that these airport photos of the Duchess are from June of 2017. This was when she traveled to Austin to attend a certain television event.

"She's holding a crisis meeting with her mom, who has some insight into her ex-husband's behavior and is hoping to help Meghan figure out how to handle him," contends an anonymous "insider" of the publication.  It is not explained, however, why the supposed "crisis meeting" happened, let alone why it needs to be done in Los Angeles. After all, Markle has the resources to do it over the phone.

The outlet maintains that former actress wants to spend time with her mother, who she believes will help her find peace. It is further asserted that Prince Harry gave Meghan the go-ahead so that she can spend some quality time with her mother.

Interestingly, Markle did fly to spend some quality time away from her royal duties. But instead of Los Angeles, she went to Toronto, People reports.

It turns out that Markle spent about three days at Jessica Mulroney and her husband Ben's home in Toronto. Meghan and Mulroney reportedly "spent their days catching up, cooking together and, of course, playing with Jessica's children, who love their 'Auntie Meg.' "

While in Toronto, Markle did not only get to spend time with Mulroney, but she also caught up with a few other girlfriends.

"There was one evening when Meghan and Jessica secretly headed out into the town to meet some of Meghan's good friends," a source said.
