After what may seem like forever, Anne Hathaway is finally back on the silver screen. Her return also sees her stepping out at this year's Venice Film Festival. And if there is someone who cannot take his eyes off her dazzling appearance, it is none other her husband, Adam Shulman.

Daily Mail reports Hathaway proudly displaying her affection towards Shulman as they both joined the said festival. The Oscar-winning actress donned a leggy display in what seems to be a billowing grey tunic dress. Her significant other was having a hard time taking his eyes off her.

Hathaway traversed the cobbles in a pair of sparkling jeweled heels and toted a chic white leather clutch bag for the glamorous evening. The "Les Misérables" star added some extra glam by sporting gold statement earrings. She also looked ever the A-list beauty with sophisticated cat-eyed shades.

She styled her chestnut locks in a sleek straight 'do, which appears to be a perfect combination for her nude make-up. Overall, they all highlighted her natural beauty.

Her actor husband Adam, on the other hand, also went out stylish. Wearing his evening attire, he wore a white polo shirt paired a black jumper and matching slacks.

Shulman sported some scruff around his jawline as he walked together with his beau to the boat before heading straight to the star-studded red carpet event.

The showbiz couple has certainly enjoyed some lover's time together. The two got married in 2012 in a traditional Jewish ceremony in California's Big Sur.

The highly celebrated actress comes back from an acclaimed performance in her newest film titled "Ocean's 8." She plays the role of Daphne Kluger, who is both a vain and jealous starlet. Interestingly, the character has a striking contrast to her personality. This only made her performance convincing and, at the same time, praiseworthy.

In a report from Hollywood Reporter, Hathaway loved playing the aforementioned character. She said that the role gave her the opportunity to let loose and act as insufferable as she can.

"So to actually let it go and to lean into all the ridiculous fame nonsense that I've been trying to side-step for all of these years just felt really, really fun," she said. "It just felt great and to play someone who had such an enormous ego and someone who takes herself so seriously."

"Ocean's 8" will not be the last film on Hathaway's revival. She is expected to star in the upcoming live-action movie "Barbie."
