Despite an ongoing report, there is no evidence that suggests Gwen Stefani did not expect Blake Shelton's baby a year ago. It is said that she is "acting like she's pregnant," which is nowhere near the truth.
In 2017, HollywoodLife published a story with a headline, "Gwen Stefani Acting Like She's Pregnant, Says Source: She's Hoping For 1st Daughter With Blake." The false site also claimed that the pop star looked a little bit rounder in some her recent pictures that time. It also revealed that a supposed "source" confessed about her "totally acting like she's pregnant" attitude.
"The way she has recently started to carry herself is the same as when she was carrying Apollo," maintained the publication's untraceable tipster. The latter further asserted, "She is walking differently and holding her body differently, almost covering-up or protecting her belly the exact same way she did last time she was pregnant." The site also went to editorialize, "OMG, we really hope that means she is carrying Blake's baby already!"
According to Gossip Cop, she was not. Stefani was not really "acting like she's pregnant" at all. This even became more apparent as the months passed. If she was really expecting a baby last summer, there is no doubt that the No Doubt lead vocals would have already given birth.
Another piece of evidence that could prove the notion false is her appearance in late April. During that time, if she was really expecting, it would have marked her last trimester. Surprisingly, Stefani had a flat stomach as she and Shelton took her kids to the park. Meanwhile, the two have spent the summer performing concerts instead of raising a baby.
Apart from the falsity and ridiculousness of the narrative, the aforementioned online tabloid crafted a similar story just a couple of months ago. Basically, in May, the site cultivated a narrative that suggests Stefani's "baggy tee" was a direct proof that she and Shelton were expecting a baby. Not only was the publication trying to come up with pregnancy signs, the whole narrative was just a complete bull.
Following the reports about non-pregnancies, the outlet made yet another claimed two weeks ago. This time, it is Shelton who is against the idea of having kids with Stefani. Much like the "acting like she's pregnant" rumor, this is also a work of fiction. Besides, the couple has been very vocal about starting a family of their own, let alone having a baby.
