Justine Bieber is reportedly spending some time in the recording studio as he quietly writes and records music, and his upcoming album will be a surprise.
Although Bieber is busy with his fiancé Hailey Baldwin, he is still making time to record new music. A source close to him told HollywoodLife that he is busy preparing for marriage. Bieber's career is a bit of a "backseat," but he never forgets his interest in music.
"He still has love for music, and still is recording and writing, and making sure to be a part of guest vocals on songs like he recently did with DJ Khaled, but when it comes to a new album for him, it is still further down the road, but something that will happen," the insider said.
Fans can expect to hear new music from the singer, though they can't mark their calendars just yet. But, the source said Bieber's next album is set to be a total surprise.
"His intentions are to make a release of his next album a surprise so he doesn't have to worry about meeting a release date. He enjoys what Beyoncé and Eminem have done with their new music, and he wants to follow suit for his own future work," the insider revealed.
Meanwhile, Bieber and Baldwin are posting photos together with all smiles on their faces. Their engagement also had a positive impact on his life as she "has changed" him and "calmed him" down a lot.
Baldwin also opened up for the first time her highly publicized and relationship with Bieber. She first revealed their engagement on Twitter after Bieber confirmed the news on his Instagram account with a very sweet, long message.
"I don't think it's affected me really. I have learned to just try my best to ignore the negativity at this time so that I can enjoy this season of my life," she said in an interview with Stellar Magazine.
She also revealed that she is "beyond excited" on her wedding with Bieber. The couple got engaged back in July, and there are no details on their wedding date yet. But, the two reportedly want to have a private wedding, wherein friends and family are only invited.
Stephen Baldwin - Hailey's dad - also offered to pay for their wedding, but Bieber insisted that he'll be the one paying for it. "He's made it clear to Hailey that money is no object and whatever she wants for the big day she can have," a source said.
