A new report claims Jennifer Aniston is making a TV series with Adam Sandler on Netflix to get her revenge on Justin Theroux. The report also notes Theroux is furious as Aniston's career is going very well. This claim, however, has been debunked.

The article from the latest issue of Woman's Day with a headline, "More Than Friend?", claims Aniston and Sandler have been photographed holding hands in Milan while they were filming Netflix's "Murder Mystery." The outlet reportedly used the said headline to lure readers, although it acknowledged Sandler is happily married with his wife and his two kids.

The tabloid speculates the photos of Aniston and Sandler are meant "to rile Theroux," suggesting the actress will be "reinstated as the queen of TV. The outlet also contends Murder Mystery is a TV show, however, this is actually a movie.

"Jennifer's then set to follow up with another series, First Ladies, for the same streaming service," the tabloid further continues. Still, First Ladies is not a TV series, but also a film.

"It'll be a blow to Justin, who is still looking for his next big TV role after the demise of his series 'The Leftovers' last year," the outlet additionally writes. This is actually incorrect as Theroux also has upcoming Netflix series "Maniac" alongside Emma Stone and Jonah Hill.

Yet, the alleged insider quotes, "Jen has more clout in Hollywood - and she makes it look easy. It's the ultimate slap in the face."

According to Gossip Cop, the article from the tabloid is full of inaccuracies and misinformation, which is likely a made-up story. The claims are only based on the untraceable source, but Aniston's rep said it is "completely absurd."

Aniston isn't getting any revenge on her estranged husband just by working and doing a film on Netflix. In fact, People also reported this week that Aniston "doesn't even talk about [Theroux] anymore" and "doesn't keep up with what he does."

In an interview for InStyle's September issue, Aniston also talked about the "misconceptions" about her single life.

"It's pretty crazy," she said. "The misconceptions are 'Jen can't keep a man,' and 'Jen refuses to have a baby because she's selfish and committed to her career.' Or that I'm sad and heartbroken. First, with all due respect, I'm not heartbroken."

As for the article on Woman's Day, Gossip Cop said the outlet has no clue about the relationships of Aniston and Theroux with Netflix as the actress is making two movies, not TV shows; while the actor has a show premiering later this month.
