NBA 2K18 is a game mostly liked by basketball lovers. However, due to a number of problems it lost its popularity in the later part. Most certain among these is the segment of microtransactions which troubled a lot of players. However, NBA 2K19 is now being considered as an enriched edition of NBA 2K, which has loads of tweaks and twists. Game analysts and players have even started to regard it as the most advanced version of NBA 2K.

According to Forbes, the well-known professional game enthusiast, and analyst: Connor Rodrigues stated in his latest tweet: "2K19 just needs some very minor tweaks and it could become the best 2K." The game just received an announcement of a new mock expansion. The briefs of this update noted that four new teams will be added to NBA 2K League for its second season. Additionally, there would be a probable change in the player rosters of the teams.

Latest reports suggest that the rosters of Atlanta,  Brooklyn, Minnesota and the L.A. Lakers will get the unprotected players who are left unprotected by 17 teams. The filling-up process of the first two slots will take place in this manner. The proposed expansion draft is rumored to be held on September 28, with Hawks Talon GC  getting the first pick of the second season. Besides such enhanced season-based updates, NBA 2K19 has also received certain upgrades in terms of its microtransactions, an issue which worried a lot of players in NBA 2K18.

Kotaku quoted that perhaps the most advanced upgrade which makes NBA 2K19 shine over its previous edition is the free haircut. Earlier, in NBA 2K18, the barber in the game used to charge a lot of the game's virtual money from the players for a single haircut of NBA characters. Even the players were not allowed to have look at the preview of the haircut and how the character would look on it.

However, NBA 2K19 allows the players to check out the makeover of characters before the actual haircut has been done. Additionally, characters are now allowed to take the same haircut again and again, which was not permitted in NBA 2K18.

Potential sources also reported that NBA's publisher is also working on various tweak ups and will launch a number of updates in coming days on NBA 2K19. However, there are certain crucial errors and bugs which appear to be as similar in NBA 2K19 as these were in the last edition.
