With the success of rebooting classic television series today, a lot of fans are expecting to see a "Friends" reboot. There are even swirling rumors Lisa Kudrow is looking forward to a reunion, but Lisa Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox are allegedly rejecting this idea.

A gossip magazine claimed Aniston and Cox are ignoring Kudrow's request to do a modern version of "Friends." A so-called source said the 55-year-old "The Comeback" star is pushing for a show's reboot, but her two former co-stars are snubbing her pleas.

"She looks back at that time in her life fondly and thinks only good things can come from the cast getting together again," the insider said.

Kudrow is even interested on a "Friends" reboot even if it would only feature the three of them. But Cox and Aniston reportedly already their plans and decided what they wanted to do without her. Hence, it made the "Mad About You" actress felt abandoned.

But Gossip Cop revealed pieces of evidence that would debunk this story. In an interview with Kudrow in "Today" show in 2017, she said she did not think a "Friends" reboot would happen. Although it would be fun to see her character as Phoebe Buffay once again, it would be a big question what the show would be about.

She also told Conan O'Brien earlier this year she had no idea how a reboot would work on "Friends." The original 90s sitcom was about a group of friends on their 20s and "they were their own family." So now that they are in their 40s and 50s and have their own families, it would be quite impossible for them to live in a house together again.

However, in an interview with InStyle magazine, via BBC, Aniston revealed she "fantasizes" for a "Friends" reboot. She even disclosed she, Cox, and Kudrow discussed the possibility to bring the show back to the small screen again.

"Courteney, Lisa and I talk about it. I fantasize about it. It really was the greatest job I ever had," she said. But just like what Kudrow said, Aniston also admitted she had no idea how the "Friends" would reboot look like today. But with the success of reboot shows today, it is not far to happen.

Meanwhile, Cox and Kudrow had a mini "Friends" reunion at Palm restaurant in Los Angeles in August. They were also reunited on the small screen with Aniston in 2014 on Jimmy Kimmel's show.
