Although they are not rushing into marriage, Hailey Baldwin revealed she is now more selective doing modeling jobs. The 21-year-old star reasoned she wanted to spend more time with her family and, of course, her fiancé, Justin Bieber.
"I've tried to be really choosy with fashion week going forward," Hailey said at the Carolina Herrera Spring/Summer 2019 show on Monday, August 10, per People. "Just because I want to have the time to spend being relaxed and being with family - and my fiancé."
Even though Hailey was seen seated on the front row of many New York Fashion Week shows, the television personality didn't walk the runway. The catwalker has been reducing her modeling gigs this season.
According to Cosmopolitan, Hailey and Justin previously revealed they are taking their time before the wedding. The couple is carefully planning their marriage as they wanted to spend more time with each other.
A source even told Entertainment Tonight Hailey and Justin wanted to make their wedding as simple as possible. They, too, are not in a hurry to plan things over as they still enjoy their engagement. The insider went on to say the newly-engaged couple tells their friends they aimed to have a "smaller wedding." The intimate event is set to be graced by close friends and family only.
Although nothing is final yet, the tipster revealed Hailey and Justin already discussed where they wanted to hold their wedding. It would either be in "Canada or somewhere in the United States;" New York or Los Angeles.
The source confirmed Hailey and Justin already tossed the idea of the possibility of doing it in both areas. But the nuptial is still in the early stages of planning. The insider added the two are taking their time and enjoying the excitement of being engaged before they officially started planning their wedding.
From the looks of it, Hailey is heeding her uncle's, Alec Baldwin, advice. The 60-year-old actor talked about his niece's engagement with Justin at the premiere of "The Public" at the Toronto International Film Festival.
"People who get married young - and they are very young - I want them to just spend time with each other," Alec said about Hailey and Justin's engagement. The "Saturday Night Live" star even pointed out the 24-year-old pop superstar who he described as someone who has a "crazy superstar career."
Although Hailey admitted she didn't have a chance to hear her uncle's advice personally, she said it was a "solid" counsel. She went on to say Alec is just looking after her and agreed they always have to put their family first above work.
