Last Christmas, rumors claimed Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani reportedly got a backyard wedding ceremony at Stefani's home in Los Angeles. Now, rumors resurfaced once again, but this time, the couple got secretly married at Shelton's ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma back in March.
According to an inside source, Shelton and Stefani got married six months ago. They held the ceremony at Shelton's home wherein Stefani's parents and children were present.
"It was the most perfect day," the alleged source said. "Simple and full of love. You could tell these two are soulmates."
The insider further asserted Shelton shed tears during the ceremony because he has "a big softy at heart."
Stefani reportedly wore "a gorgeous fitted pure white" wedding gown, and it wasn't anything "over the top." The tipster said she wanted to keep simple, like the ceremony.
Dennis and Patti - Stefani's parents - were present along with her three sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. Aside from the family members, there were also reportedly other guests who got the chance to enjoy some hunting and fishing on Shelton's 2,000-acre property.
The source revealed other details, saying there's "cookouts and campfires," as well as Shelton's showing off his own "herds of deer, antelope, and wildebeests." The tipster also shared that aside from the custom-made gazebo, everything else "was done in-house."
Shelton and Stefani also kept their budget low on their secret wedding as Shelton does not entirely own the land. The insider thought the wedding costs more than $20,000 since it's "the kind of low-key life they enjoy together."
However, according to the Celebrity Insider, the details revealed of the alleged "source" are vague and hard to believe as it also claimed Miranda Lambert sent a congratulatory text message following the wedding rumors. That detail is quite a red flag and hard to believe whether the insider was actually telling the truth.
Representatives from Shelton and Stefani have said that the latest rumors about the couple were completely false. And although secret weddings of some celebrities do happen, the claim of the anonymous source is pretty hard to believe.
Wedding rumors have been following Shelton and Stefani for quite a while now. But still, there's no ring on Stefani's finger - which mean no secret wedding happened. The couple loves to share their relationship on social media, so they will be the first ones to share the news if ever they finally decided to get married.
