Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are reportedly making moves for their wedding as the couple was spotted heading to a courthouse in New York City to apply for a marriage license.
Bieber, 24, and Baldwin, 21, were photographed on September 13 entering a Marriage Bureau in NYC. The two reportedly went there to apply for the legal paperwork that would make them be husband and wife, according to TMZ.
"Several eyewitnesses say the two were inside the Marriage Bureau in NYC and Justin was emotional. The eyewitnesses say he was crying and at one point said to his fiancée, 'I can't wait to marry you, baby'," the site reported, adding Bieber and Baldwin might probably even tied the knot.
One person also said Bieber told the court official, "Thanks for keeping it on the DL." While another also claimed the court official was a "judge," who insinuates they got married. However, TMZ could not confirm if the two may have tied the knot.
Also, there is another eyewitness that claims to overhear Bieber saying they were planning to leave the country shortly, hence making plans for their wedding destination.
As per Hollywood Life, a marriage license in New York is valid for 60 days from the time it has been filed. That means Bieber and Baldwin could likely tie the knot anytime in the next two months.
Meanwhile, the "secret" wedding rumor sparked when Baldwin was seen wearing a gorgeous white mini dress with long puffy sleeves while holding Bieber's hand as they are entering the court. Bieber, on the other hand, was wearing a horizontal brown and white long-sleeved shirt and long black shorts.
If it's true that they tied the knot on that courthouse, then the wedding ceremony is just a formality for friends and family to celebrate.
It can be recalled that the couple had a whirlwind relationship, just like their engagement. The two had a short romance in 2016, they reunited again in June, and Bieber decided to finally ask Baldwin to be his wife in July.
The two are reportedly done in done pre-marriage counseling and seemed like they are rushing to march at the altar as soon as possible. Kim Basinger, the aunt of Baldwin, confirmed her daughter (Baldwin's cousin) would be part of the wedding party. Post Malone, tour buddy, and pal of Bieber, also then confirmed he would be hosting his pal's G-rated fishing and chilling bachelor party.
